Our Referral Process
We work hard to make the referral process as straightforward as possible for our professional partners. We know that your time is valuable, and we want you to be able to focus on your patients and other professional obligations.
To refer someone to East Tennessee Behavioral Health, contact our admissions department anytime, 24/7. One of our intake clinicians will gather some basic information from you about your patient so that we can determine if we’re able to meet their treatment needs.
If we accept your patient for admission, we’ll work with you to provide updates as you prefer to receive them. At minimum, we’ll contact you upon admission, midway through treatment, and upon discharge, but we’ll also ask if you would like to receive more frequent updates.
Upon discharge, we’ll send you a summary of your patient’s time with us within 48 hours.
